Sarah Offin from Global News did a great job with this story. It feels great to get the word out!

Check out this clip from the 6pm news on Monday, March 26! Apologies for the commercial...
Been a little while since our last post. We now have $295,000 in confirmed funding! This money comes from a variety of sources including donations, in-kind donations, and grants. Our team continues to wait for decisions to be made on grants that we have applied to including:
1. Federal Accessibility Grant 2. Canadian Tire Jumpstart 3. Community Facility Enhancement Program 4. Co-op Community Spaces We would like to send out a HUGE thank you, kudos, appreciation, love, ETC!! to the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association for their WHOPPING $25,000 donation towards our project!! This is amazing news and showcases their dedication towards making Thorncliffe Greenview a better place! The books have been balanced, the pizza paid for, the raffle prizes distributed. We are happy to report that our Family Dance FUNdraiser raised $1500 for our new playground! Thank you to TG community association, staff, community members, and local businesses for helping to make the night a success! Here's a sneak peak at April's Horizon article
We are so happy to report that we have been awarded a grant from Alberta Tire Recycling in the amount of $30,000! This grant will go directly towards the purchase of recycled tire for the flooring in the playground.
This Saturday was our Family FUNdraiser Pizza Party at the TG Community Centre. It was a success and fun was had by all! Kids danced, grown-ups won prizes, and we raised money for our amazing new playground. Stay tuned to find out how much- we're still recovering from the party and should have an amount counted up tomorrow! Here are a few pictures from the night. This is very, very cool!! Head on down to the lounge at the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Centre, 5600 Centre Street North and drink back some Original 16 to help the cause!!
Doesn't this look cool?! Your new playground will have one of these- where kids of different abilities can play side by side! That's what we call inclusion😀 Except you can ignore the wood chips on the ground because your new playground will have rubberized flooring- that's what we call accessibility
We're looking for a DJ to donate their services, and raffle prizes as well. Please contact us if you can help.
